He will also warn you about the withdrawal symptoms such as panic attacks, severe anxiety, the shakes or rapid heartbeat that you may face while quitting your addiction. The severity of such symptoms depends upon the type and level of an addiction. Your doctor will diagnose your addiction and help you with the same. He will tell you to get involved in the activities that will distract your mind from the withdrawal symptoms and lessen the feeling of pain.
Change Your Attitude
The next thing you are supposed to do id to change your attitude about quitting your addiction. Though you may have been addicted for a long time, tell to yourself that you have decided to stop it as it’s not good for you as well as your society. Don’t think that you are not going break communications with a buddy who has been very nice to you. Tell to yourself that it’s your enemy that may your health, your relationship as well as reputation in society, and it’s better to stop it as soon as possible.
Plan a Date for Quitting

Get Rid Of the Bottles

You should cut the things out of your house that reminds you of alcohol or inspires to drink. Just throw the bottles and cans of wine out of your house. Also, you should remove the images that make you take liquor. Outside your house, you should make a company of the people who don’t drink or talk about drinking. Try to maintain a distance from the people such friends or neighbors who drink more often and may insist you to join them. But, if you meet them somewhere, coincidently, approach them with a good approach and treat well; however, you should forget about politely saying a ‘No’ to their drinking invitations. Remember, you can have a good time with those people even without getting drunk. You should not do anything that may make you likely to drink. If going a particular friend’s house makes you drink, think of going somewhere else such as a garden or a beach where you sit in the lap of nature and relax for some time.
Feel Your Feelings
Due to your addiction, you haven’t realized your real feelings since a long time and now it’s the time feel your real feelings. During your de-addition schedule, you should sleep whenever you feel tired, eat whenever you feel hungry, cry whenever you need to clay and laugh whenever you can laugh. In starting, you may it little awkward but trust me you haven’t done what feel to do for a long time and doing what you feel to do will give great satisfaction and will boost your enthusiasm. You will feel more confident than anything and you will work towards your goal of stopping alcohol with a much strong determination.
